Hopkinton, NH (February 28, 2025) – A serious crash involving multiple vehicles, including an empty log truck, was reported on I-89 South in Hopkinton Friday morning.
The collision happened around 7:00 a.m., about 1.5 miles north of an earlier pileup in Concord. According to first responders, a truck was rear-ended, and two other vehicles were destroyed in the crash. Emergency crews from both Hopkinton and Concord responded to the scene.
Firefighters worked quickly to free a trapped individual from one of the vehicles. That person, along with another injured victim, was transported to the hospital for treatment. Authorities have not provided updates on their conditions.
The crash led to temporary lane closures as officials worked to investigate and clear the scene. Drivers were urged to slow down and use caution in the area.
