Denton, MD (February 28, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash on Route 404 and Deep Shore Road in Caroline County led to one person being airlifted to a trauma center on Thursday morning.
Emergency responders from Denton, Greensboro, and local medics arrived at the scene at approximately 9:40 a.m. Initial reports indicated possible entrapment, but first responders confirmed that no one was trapped inside the vehicles.
One patient suffered serious chest injuries and required advanced medical care. EMS personnel requested Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper 6 for transport, and at 10:33 a.m., the helicopter departed for Shock Trauma.
