Reports indicate that a 2024 Freightliner Garbage Truck, driven by Darren Allan Reddel, 38, of Riceville, IA, was entering Highway 30 from a nearby driveway when it collided with a 2011 Ford Ranger, driven by Raymond Richard Kyllo, 90, of Hayfield, MN, who was traveling eastbound on the highway. First responders, including paramedics, assessed and treated individuals hurt in the crash.
Authorities confirmed that Darren Allan Reddel was uninjured, while Raymond Richard Kyllo sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin for further medical attention.
