Bradford County, FL (February 26, 2025) – A 24-year-old motorcyclist from Raiford lost his life Tuesday evening following a collision with a pickup truck in Bradford County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Weldon Street and North Orange Street. Reports indicate that a 68-year-old man was driving a pickup truck westbound on Weldon Street when he failed to observe eastbound traffic. As a result, he veered into the eastbound lane and collided with the motorcyclist.
Emergency responders transported the injured rider to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not released the names of those involved, and the crash remains under investigation.
