Dover, WI (February 25, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash caused moderate damage to both cars at the intersection of Church Road and S. Britton Road on Monday morning.
The Kansasville Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after 7:00 a.m., finding both vehicles still in the roadway with airbag deployment. Emergency crews assessed both drivers for injuries, but they declined medical treatment and ambulance transport.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Office temporarily closed the intersection to ensure scene safety while first responders worked. The roadway has since been reopened, and deputies continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
We are grateful that both drivers avoided serious injuries and hope they remain safe.

Even crashes that result in moderate vehicle damage can pose risks to those involved. Airbag deployment and impact forces can lead to hidden injuries, such as whiplash or concussions, which may not be immediately noticeable. Seeking medical evaluation after an accident is always recommended, even if no pain is present at the scene.
Rural intersections, like Church Road and S. Britton Road, often have limited visibility and can be hazardous, especially in poor weather or low-light conditions. Drivers are encouraged to approach intersections cautiously, obey right-of-way rules, and remain aware of surrounding traffic.
