Hilliard, OH (February 25, 2025) – A tragic wrong-way collision in the Cross Creek area of Hilliard claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman and left two others injured late Monday night.
According to local reports, the crash occurred at Roberts Road and Renmill Drive when the driver of a Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes. The Camry collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene shortly after 12:00 a.m. and found one person trapped inside a vehicle. Firefighters worked to extricate the individual while paramedics treated the injured. The driver of the Camry was transported to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Corolla sustained injuries and was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital, while a front-seat passenger was transported to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital. Both were reported to be in stable condition, according to police.
