Mooreland, OK (February 24, 2025) – Two people from Oklahoma City were killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on US-412 west of Mooreland on Sunday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).
The crash occurred shortly after noon when a southbound passenger vehicle failed to yield at an intersection and collided with an eastbound Freightliner semi-truck. The impact caused fatal injuries to both occupants of the car, who were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was uninjured. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the two victims as they work to notify their families.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
