Brooklyn, NY (February 24, 2025) – A mother and her two young daughters were injured after being struck by a vehicle in Kensington early Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.
The incident occurred on Coney Island Ave as the 34-year-old mother and her children, ages 10 and 2, were exiting their car. A passing vehicle sideswiped them, causing injuries. Authorities reported that the mother and her 10-year-old daughter suffered injuries to their arms, while the 2-year-old sustained a forehead laceration.
Emergency responders, including FDNY personnel, arrived at the scene and transported at least one victim to Maimonides Medical Center for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been fully disclosed, and no arrests have been made at this time.
