Burlington, NC (February 19, 2025) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday evening at the intersection of E Webb Avenue and Flanner Street.
Burlington police responded to the scene and found a 26-year-old man suffering from severe injuries after being struck by a black Ford Mustang. Emergency responders provided medical care before transporting the victim to a local hospital. His identity has not been released at this time.
Authorities reported that the driver of the Mustang, identified as 45-year-old Kelly Pennix, fled the scene following the crash.
