Hebron, CT (February 18, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash on Route 85 Monday evening left one driver with life-threatening injuries after a rollover collision.
According to Connecticut State Police, the crash occurred around 5 p.m. when a 64-year-old woman from Amston, driving a Nissan Pathfinder southbound, crossed the double yellow lines on a left curve in the road. The Pathfinder struck the left side of a Ford E350 Super Duty, causing the Ford to spin off the road while the Nissan overturned.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, providing medical care at the scene. The driver of the Pathfinder sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Hartford Hospital for emergency treatment. The driver of the Ford E350 was transported to Windham Hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No further details have been released at this time.
