Monroe, LA (February 17, 2025) – A fatal house fire broke out Sunday afternoon on Marion St in Monroe, claiming the life of a 60-year-old man.
The Ouachita Parish Fire Department responded to the scene just before 12:30 PM. Despite efforts from firefighters, the man was pronounced deceased as a result of the blaze.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. At this time, no additional details have been released.
