Driveway-Related Accidents in Missouri
Collisions involving vehicles pulling out of driveways are common, particularly on rural or high-speed roads like Phillips Road. Drivers exiting driveways must yield to oncoming traffic, but visibility issues, blind spots, and misjudged distances can contribute to accidents.
Missouri law requires drivers to ensure the roadway is clear before entering traffic. When accidents occur due to a failure to yield, determining liability is crucial, especially when injuries or significant vehicle damage result. Victims may need to seek compensation for medical expenses, vehicle repairs, and other losses.
