Woodstock, IL (February 17, 2025) – A severe motor vehicle collision resulted in multiple injuries on Monday at the intersection of Route 14 and Dean St in Woodstock.
The crash involved two heavily damaged vehicles, one of which caught fire following the impact. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find one person ejected from a vehicle and another individual unresponsive and trapped inside a wrecked car.
Due to the severity of the injuries, multiple medical helicopters were requested to airlift victims to nearby hospitals. Initial reports indicate that at least three helicopters were dispatched, with one directed to meet emergency teams at a hospital for immediate transport. Emergency medical services activated EMS Box 5-452 to provide additional support at the scene.
Firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement worked quickly to assist those injured and prevent further hazards caused by the burning vehicle.
