According to local authorities, the accident occurred at approximately 3:29 p.m. when a 2020 GMC Acadia, traveling southbound on Nicollet Ave, collided with a 2023 International semi heading eastbound on Highway 99.

Truck Accidents in Minnesota

Collisions involving large commercial trucks often result in serious injuries due to the size and weight disparity between passenger vehicles and semis. Minnesota roadways see a significant number of truck accidents each year, many of which lead to severe consequences for those involved.

In Minnesota, major intersections and highways, such as Highway 99, are frequent locations for traffic collisions. Factors such as driver inattention, failure to yield, and adverse road conditions can all contribute to crashes at busy intersections. Additionally, large commercial vehicles require longer stopping distances, making it critical for all drivers to exercise caution when navigating roadways shared with semi-trucks.

Victims of truck accidents often face medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and other financial burdens. Seeking legal guidance can help injured parties understand their rights and explore potential compensation for their losses.
