Merced County, CA (February 17, 2025) – A man was killed, and a woman was seriously injured in a solo motorcycle crash early Sunday morning on Highway 99, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The accident occurred just after midnight when the motorcycle, traveling northbound on Highway 99, crashed into the center median under unclear circumstances.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and confirmed that the male rider had succumbed to his injuries. The female passenger sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
