Beavercreek Township, OH (February 16, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle crash in Greene County on Saturday night claimed the life of a 55-year-old man and left two juveniles seriously injured.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) responded to the crash at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Fairground Rd and Trebein Rd in Beavercreek Township.
According to OSHP, a 16-year-old driver of a Honda Civic was traveling east on Fairground Rd when they failed to stop at a red light. The Civic collided with a Chevrolet Spark traveling south on Trebein Rd. Both vehicles veered off the road, struck multiple fixed objects, and overturned.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 55-year-old Kevin Profitt, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead. The teenage driver and a juvenile passenger suffered serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the crash.
