The crash was reported at approximately 3:31 p.m. PST, prompting a response from California Highway Patrol (CHP) – North Sacramento and emergency medical personnel. Initial reports indicated that at least two vehicles were involved, later confirmed to be a three-vehicle crash.
Emergency responders arrived to find significant debris across the roadway and major damage to the involved vehicles, which included a blue Hyundai sedan and a gray minivan. Witnesses at the scene described the collision as a head-on crash, with some individuals trapped inside their vehicles.
