Bicycle Accidents in Washington
Bicycle collisions with larger vehicles, such as school buses, often result in significant injuries due to the vulnerability of cyclists on the road. In Washington, bicycle accidents frequently occur in areas with high traffic volume, school zones, and intersections where visibility and right-of-way misunderstandings can contribute to crashes.
Cyclists are encouraged to wear helmets, use reflective gear, and remain aware of their surroundings, especially in areas with frequent bus and vehicle traffic. At the same time, drivers must remain vigilant, obey speed limits in school zones, and yield to cyclists when required.
Victims of bicycle accidents may face medical expenses, rehabilitation, and lost wages during their recovery. Seeking legal guidance can help injured cyclists understand their rights and options following an accident.
