Truck and Car Collisions in Kentucky
Crashes involving tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles often result in serious injuries due to the size and weight disparity between the vehicles. Fatigue, distracted driving, and failure to maintain proper following distances are common factors contributing to such accidents on Kentucky’s highways, including I-169.
Kentucky follows a comparative fault system, meaning that multiple parties may share responsibility in a crash. Injured victims have the right to pursue compensation from at-fault drivers for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages. In cases of serious injuries, victims may also seek damages for pain and suffering, rehabilitation, and long-term care.
If you or a loved one has been injured in a collision involving a tractor-trailer, it is crucial to seek immediate medical attention, document the scene, and consult with legal professionals to protect your rights and secure fair compensation.
