St. Paul, NE (February 10, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle collision in Howard County resulted in the death of one person on Wednesday afternoon. The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of NE-Highway 92 and NE-Highway 11.
Authorities stated that a Ram Promaster City traveling south failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an eastbound Jeep Cherokee. The force of the impact sent both vehicles off the road, where they came to rest in a southeast ditch. The Jeep flipped and came to a stop against a tree.
