Kasson, MN (February 9, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on eastbound Highway 14 near Milepost 198 in Dodge County left one person injured on Saturday morning.

The crash, which occurred at approximately 10:03 a.m., involved a 2021 Honda Accord and a 2004 GMC Sierra. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound when they collided under unknown circumstances. Emergency responders, including Kasson Police and Fire Departments, along with Dodge Center Ambulance, arrived at the scene to assess the situation.

The driver of the Honda Accord, identified as 39-year-old Linda Soteda Dy of Owatonna, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital for further treatment. A 12-year-old female passenger in her vehicle was unharmed.

The driver of the GMC Sierra, 37-year-old Gregory Michael Seath of Saint Peter, was not injured. His 8-year-old female passenger was also uninjured. Reports confirm that airbags deployed in the Honda Accord but not in the GMC Sierra. Seat belts were in use by all occupants, and authorities have stated that alcohol was not a contributing factor.
