Jefferson County, MO (February 9, 2025) – Emergency responders were quick to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 30 and Delores Dr early Friday morning. The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. and involved a 2023 Jeep Wrangler and a 2022 Jeep Compass.

According to authorities, the Jeep Compass, driven by a 68-year-old woman from House Springs, MO, was making a left turn onto westbound Highway 30 with a green traffic signal. At the same time, the Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 35-year-old man from Fenton, MO, failed to stop for a red light. As he attempted to turn onto southbound Delores Dr, the front right of his vehicle struck the right side of the Compass.

The impact caused extensive damage to the Jeep Compass, which had to be towed by High Ridge Towing, while the Jeep Wrangler sustained minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.

First responders, including the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and North Jefferson County Ambulance, arrived at the scene to assist. The 68-year-old female driver of the Compass sustained injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. The driver of the Wrangler was not reported to have any injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
