Randolph County, MO (February 9, 2025) – Emergency responders were quick to the scene of a serious head-on collision that occurred on Route A, approximately 4 miles south of Moberly, early Friday morning. The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. and involved two vehicles, a 1994 Ford F-150 and a 2010 Mazda 3.
According to authorities, the Mazda 3, driven by a 38-year-old woman from Macon, MO, crossed the center line and struck the northbound Ford F-150 head-on. The impact caused both vehicles to veer off the west side of the roadway, where the Ford F-150 overturned. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by 2470 Towing and Recovery.
First responders, including the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, Higbee Fire Department, and Randolph County Ambulance, worked to assist those injured in the crash. The male driver of the Ford F-150, a 32-year-old from Moberly, MO, and the female driver of the Mazda 3 both suffered moderate injuries. The man was transported to Moberly Regional Medical Center, while the woman was taken to University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
