Bicycle Accidents in Missouri

Bicycle collisions with motor vehicles often result in severe or fatal injuries due to the lack of protection for cyclists. Accidents like this highlight the dangers bicyclists face, especially at night when visibility is reduced.

Common causes of bicycle accidents include:

  • Driver inattention
  • Poor visibility
  • Failure to yield
  • Unsafe passing

Missouri law requires drivers to exercise caution around bicyclists, and cyclists should use proper lighting and reflective gear to increase visibility.

Losing a loved one in a bicycle crash is devastating for families, often bringing financial and emotional burdens. Under Missouri law, families of wrongful death victims may have legal options to seek compensation for medical expenses, funeral costs, and other damages.
