Rear-End Collisions in Missouri
Rear-end crashes, particularly those involving commercial trucks, can be severe due to the significant weight and size difference between passenger vehicles and semis. These accidents often occur due to driver distraction, following too closely, or reduced visibility during nighttime driving.
Victims of rear-end crashes may suffer serious injuries requiring extensive medical care and rehabilitation. Under Missouri law, individuals injured in accidents caused by another driver’s negligence may have legal options to seek compensation for damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, and vehicle repair costs.
To prevent rear-end collisions, drivers should always maintain a safe following distance, especially when traveling behind large trucks. Staying alert and adjusting speed to road conditions can help reduce accident risks.
