Perry County, MO (February 5, 2025) — A 19-year-old driver was killed late Monday night in a multi-vehicle crash on US 61, north of Route NN in Perry County. The accident occurred at approximately 11:52 p.m., according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Authorities state that the driver of a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD was traveling southbound on US 61 when he lost control of the vehicle. The truck veered off the roadway to the left and struck a stationary 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The Silverado then overturned and collided with three additional parked vehicles before crashing into the porch of a nearby residence.
Emergency responders pronounced the 19-year-old driver, a St. Mary, MO resident, deceased at the scene at 12:34 a.m. Mercy Ambulance District EMT Jesse Martin made the official declaration. The victim was transported to Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
Both vehicles involved in the crash sustained extensive damage and were removed by Perry County Towing. No additional injuries were reported in connection with the accident. The Perry County Sheriff’s Office and Perryville Police Department assisted at the scene.
