Unionville, MO (February 4, 2025) – Two drivers were injured in a head-on collision Monday morning on Missouri Route 5, approximately four miles north of Unionville.
The crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. when a northbound 2021 Chevrolet Colorado crossed the center line and collided with a southbound 2022 Toyota Sienna. The impact resulted in both vehicles sustaining total damage and requiring towing.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 46-year-old woman from Centerville, IA, suffered minor injuries and was transported by Putnam County Ambulance to Putnam County Memorial Hospital in Unionville. The driver of the Toyota, a 28-year-old woman from Unionville, MO, also sustained injuries and was taken to Mercy One Hospital in Centerville, IA, via private transportation.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, and Putnam County First Responders assisted at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
