Waterville, MN (February 4, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 13 in Le Sueur County resulted in injuries on Monday morning.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:59 a.m., involving a 2011 Chrysler 300 and a 2016 Toyota Prius. According to authorities, the Chrysler was traveling southbound on Highway 13, while the Toyota was traveling eastbound on Highway 60 when the two vehicles collided.
Emergency responders, including the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office, Waterville Police and Fire Department, and North Memorial Ambulance, arrived at the scene to assist those involved. Medics treated one injured driver before transporting him to a local hospital for further evaluation.
The driver of the Chrysler, identified as 24-year-old Trinity Paul Schultz of Andover, MN, was reportedly unharmed in the crash. Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota, 43-year-old David Michael Olsen of Lonsdale, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Faribault Hospital for treatment.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, and authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
