Chadwick, MO (February 3, 2025) – A motorcycle crash on MO-125 in Chadwick left one rider injured on Sunday afternoon. The accident occurred around 4:11 p.m. and involved two Harley-Davidson motorcycles traveling northbound.
According to reports, the crash happened when a 2010 Harley-Davidson FLHX, operated by a 62-year-old man from Springfield, overturned and began skidding down the roadway. A 1994 Harley-Davidson FLSTN, ridden by a 63-year-old Springfield man, swerved in an attempt to avoid the sliding motorcycle but ran off the right side of the road and overturned as well.
Emergency responders arrived to assist, and the 62-year-old motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Mercy Springfield for further medical evaluation. The second rider was not reported to have sustained any injuries. Both motorcycles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene by personal vehicles.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
