Miller, MO (February 1, 2025) – A tragic accident on Route BB near Hackberry Road resulted in two fatalities on Friday afternoon.
According to authorities, the crash occurred at approximately 1:02 p.m. when a 74-year-old man from Iberia, driving a 2007 Ford F-150, failed to navigate a curve. The vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned.
Medics and fire crews worked to assist those suffering from injuries. Unfortunately, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Miller County Coroner. A 65-year-old female passenger was transported to Lake Regional Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
This crash marks the sixth and seventh fatalities recorded by Troop F in January. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
