Kanawha County, WV (February 1, 2025) – A deadly three-vehicle crash occurred on WV Route 94 early Friday morning, resulting in the death of a 32-year-old driver and injuries to multiple others.
Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 7:30 a.m., where Sgt. R.R. Cervera confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the crash.
According to reports, Jacob Jones, 32, was driving a white SUV northbound on WV Route 94 when he lost control and veered into the southbound lane, colliding with a silver SUV. His vehicle was then struck by a black SUV traveling south.
Emergency responders pronounced Jones deceased at the scene. The other individuals involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Officials are currently investigating the cause of the crash. No further details have been released at this time.
