Franklin, OH (January 31, 2025) – A school crossing guard was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle while assisting students near a junior high school in Warren County on Friday morning.
According to the Franklin City School District, the crash occurred at approximately 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Beam Drive and 4th Street. The crossing guard was inside the designated crosswalk, ensuring students’ safe passage when an adult driver struck her with a vehicle.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the injured crossing guard to Atrium Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. Authorities have not yet disclosed the extent of her injuries, but she is reported to be recovering.
No students were harmed in the incident.
