Daleville, AL (January 2, 2025) – A tragic house fire early Thursday morning in Daleville claimed the life of a local resident. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Highway 84 at approximately 5:30 a.m.
Dale County Coroner John Cawley identified the victim as 62-year-old David Berry. According to officials, Berry lived alone in the home, which was engulfed in flames by the time emergency responders arrived. Despite their efforts, Berry succumbed to the fire.
