Delhi Twp, MI (January 30, 2025) – A serious four-vehicle collision at the intersection of College Road and Harper Road left three people critically injured on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to the crash around 12:20 p.m. after a 43-year-old East Lansing woman driving eastbound on Harper Road failed to stop at College Road. Her vehicle collided with a southbound car driven by a 38-year-old Dewitt woman. The impact sent the second vehicle into a northbound car driven by an 87-year-old Lansing woman, who was accompanied by her 82-year-old husband.
The initial driver’s car then rolled and struck a fourth vehicle, a 26-year-old Lansing man’s car, which was stopped at the stop sign on westbound Harper Road.
The East Lansing woman and the elderly couple from Lansing sustained critical injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The other individuals involved did not report injuries.
Authorities closed the roadway for three hours to conduct their investigation. The sheriff’s office continues to examine the factors leading to the crash.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims, and we hope for their full recovery.
