Pedestrian Accidents in California
Pedestrian accidents remain a serious issue in California, especially in urban areas like San Jose, where high traffic volumes and busy intersections increase risks for pedestrians. According to the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), pedestrian fatalities have been on the rise, with older adults and children being among the most vulnerable groups.
Many pedestrian crashes occur due to factors such as poor visibility, distracted driving, and failure to yield at crosswalks. In accidents like this, investigators often examine speed, driver impairment, and roadway conditions to determine liability.
Losing a loved one in a pedestrian accident is a devastating experience, leaving families with emotional and financial burdens. If you or someone you know has lost a loved one in a pedestrian crash, seeking legal guidance may help navigate the complexities of filing a wrongful death claim.
