Pompey, NY (January 30, 2025) – A fatal crash involving an SUV and a sedan occurred Thursday morning on Route 91 near Jerome Road, according to state police.
Emergency dispatchers received reports of the crash at approximately 7:48 a.m. The accident happened on a bend in the roadway and involved four people in total. Upon arrival, responders found two individuals unconscious. Tragically, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved or details regarding the severity of injuries sustained by the other individuals. Both lanes of Route 91 between Jerome and Chase Roads were shut down as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash.
