Austin, TX (January 30, 2025) – One person lost their life following a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in North Austin on Thursday morning.
According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS), emergency crews responded to the 11000 block of Jollyville Rd just after 6 a.m. Upon arrival, medics attempted CPR on an adult victim who had suffered severe injuries.
Despite resuscitation efforts, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene around 6:30 a.m. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. In the meantime, drivers are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
