Las Vegas, NV (January 29, 2025) – A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday night in southwest Las Vegas. The accident occurred at approximately 7:06 p.m. at the intersection of Blue Diamond Rd and Fort Apache Rd, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Emergency responders, including Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist had sustained fatal injuries. The victim, a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined that the motorcyclist was riding a 2023 BMW K 1600 eastbound on Blue Diamond Rd when he collided with the rear of a 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class. The impact ejected the rider from his motorcycle, after which he was struck by a westbound 2004 Ford Explorer.
The drivers of the Mercedes-Benz and Ford Explorer remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. Authorities have not confirmed if impairment or speed played a role in the accident, and an investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
