Dover-Foxcroft, ME (January 27, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Dover-Foxcroft, resulting in the death of one individual and serious injuries to another. The incident was reported around 1:20 a.m. near 1408 Dexter Rd.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered that the vehicle had crashed, leaving the driver, 23-year-old Isaac Weymouth of St. Albans, and his passenger, 22-year-old Jersie Worley-Stewart, severely impacted by the incident. Weymouth was transported to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor via Lifeflight with serious injuries. Tragically, Worley-Stewart was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation as officials work to determine the circumstances that led to the collision. Multiple agencies, including the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office, Maine State Police, Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department, Sangerville Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance, and Lifeflight of Maine, responded to the scene to assist.
