Braddock, PA (January 26, 2025) – A devastating house fire occurred in the 400 block of Mills Ave in Braddock on Friday afternoon, tragically claiming the life of a 77-year-old woman.
Allegheny County dispatchers reported that firefighters were called to the scene at approximately 2:30 p.m. Upon arrival, crews discovered the home engulfed in flames, with several windows, particularly on the top floor, blown out due to the intensity of the fire.
The victim has been identified by the medical examiner as Natalie Stecki, 77. Despite the efforts of first responders, she was unable to escape the blaze. Authorities, including Allegheny County homicide detectives, state troopers, and the Allegheny County Fire Marshal, were dispatched to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
