Dunlap, TN (January 26, 2025) – Emergency responders, including the Dunlap Fire Department and other agencies, were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 127 North near the Bledsoe County line on Friday. The incident required a coordinated response from multiple emergency teams.
One of the drivers was trapped inside their vehicle, necessitating extrication. Firefighters utilized Hurst hydraulic spreaders to open the driver’s door and free the occupant. Emergency personnel from Puckett EMS and Bledsoe County EMS worked together to treat and transport multiple patients to local medical facilities for further evaluation.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the cause of the accident, with assistance from Sequatchie County sheriff’s deputies. Sequatchie County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) was also present at the scene. At this time, no further information about the patients or their conditions has been released.
