Pedestrian Accidents in Florida
Pedestrian fatalities are a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers present on Florida’s busy highways, particularly those like I-95 with high-speed traffic. While most pedestrian crashes occur in urban areas, incidents on interstates often result in severe or fatal injuries due to the high speeds involved.
Drivers and pedestrians alike are urged to exercise caution on and around highways. Pedestrians should avoid walking on roadways or stepping into traffic lanes unless absolutely necessary, while drivers must remain alert and vigilant to their surroundings, particularly near shoulders or rest areas.
If you or a loved one has been involved in a pedestrian accident, it’s critical to seek immediate medical attention and consult with professionals to understand your rights and options for recovery.
