Huntsville, AL (January 21, 2025) – A head-on collision on Winchester Road near Henson Road claimed the life of 64-year-old Felicia L. Hereford-Kaigler on Monday afternoon, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
The crash occurred around 1:50 p.m. when Hereford-Kaigler’s 2001 Honda Civic collided with a 2018 Kenworth T680 tractor-trailer. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
Don Webster, spokesperson for the Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (HEMSI), stated that the call for the crash came in at approximately 1:55 p.m. One additional individual, a male occupant, was evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene but was not transported to the hospital.
The circumstances leading to the crash are currently under investigation by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division. No further details about the factors contributing to the collision have been released.
