Centerline Crossover Crashes in Missouri

Centerline crossover collisions are among the most dangerous types of accidents, often resulting in severe injuries or fatalities. These crashes frequently occur on rural highways like US 160, where narrow lanes and higher speeds can increase the likelihood of such incidents.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) advises drivers to remain vigilant, particularly on rural roadways, and avoid distractions to maintain lane discipline. Proper vehicle maintenance, including tire checks and alignment, can also reduce the risk of losing control.

For victims of centerline crossover accidents, recovery often involves addressing medical bills, vehicle damage, and emotional trauma. Understanding legal rights and seeking assistance can help families navigate the aftermath of such events.
