Allendale Twp, MI (January 15, 2025) – Two individuals were injured in a collision Tuesday morning at the intersection of 68th Ave and Lake Michigan Dr, as reported by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO).
The crash occurred at approximately 11:10 a.m. when a 17-year-old male driver from Allendale, traveling south on 68th Ave, crossed the intersection and collided with another vehicle. The force of the impact caused both vehicles to veer off the roadway.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to assist those injured. The 17-year-old male was transported to a hospital in Grand Rapids in stable condition. The other driver, a 69-year-old woman, suffered critical injuries and was taken to a separate Grand Rapids hospital for urgent treatment.
