Tips for Avoiding Lane-Change Crashes
Lane-change accidents, like this one on I-35, are common on Missouri highways. They can happen when drivers misjudge distances or fail to check blind spots.
- Common Causes: Blind spots, distractions, and rushing to change lanes often lead to crashes.
- Prevention Tips: Use turn signals early, check mirrors and blind spots, and only change lanes when there is plenty of space. Staying alert and patient can reduce risks.
Highway accidents can result in physical injuries, emotional stress, and financial strain. After a crash, it’s important to get medical care, document the scene, and understand your insurance and legal options.
