Preventing Intersection Collisions in Missouri
Intersections, such as the one on MO-171 at Fir Road, are common sites for vehicle accidents. Misjudged turns and failure to yield are frequent contributors to collisions, often leading to significant injuries and vehicle damage.
- Safety Tips: Drivers should exercise extra caution at intersections, double-check for oncoming traffic, and use turn signals to alert others. Avoid rushing through turns, particularly in high-traffic areas.
- Missouri Trends: According to state data, a large percentage of crashes occur at intersections due to improper turns and distracted driving.
