San Antonio, TX (January 14, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle crash on the far Southside of San Antonio left one person dead and three others injured, including a child with serious injuries, on Monday morning, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
The collision, involving a minivan and a pickup truck, occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Martinez Losoya Rd, near Losoya Middle School, Pearce Elementary School, and Southside High School.
Authorities reported that the minivan carried an adult woman and her two teenagers, a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old. Tragically, the mother succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The 14-year-old suffered a broken leg, while the 13-year-old’s condition has not been disclosed. The pickup truck driver’s condition and identity were not immediately available. Emergency responders worked to extricate one individual from a vehicle following the crash.
