Easthampton, MA (January 8, 2025) – A 72-year-old Easthampton man tragically lost his life Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle on Route 10. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 PM, according to a statement from the Northwestern District Attorney David Sullivan’s office.
Authorities reported that the vehicle, driven by a 39-year-old man, was heading southbound toward Southhampton at the time of the collision. Following the crash, Easthampton police closed Main Street between South Street and Coleman Road at 4:45 PM to allow emergency crews to secure the scene and investigate. The road was later reopened.
