Columbus, OH (January 8, 2025) – A collision involving a vehicle and a Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) bus occurred Tuesday morning on E Broad St near Cedar Cliff, resulting in one person sustaining injuries.
The accident was reported just before 11 a.m., according to local police. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene to assess the situation. While no passengers on the bus were injured, the bus driver was transported to a nearby hospital as a precautionary measure. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities worked efficiently to clear the scene, and normal traffic flow resumed around noon. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by this incident.
